Reuters - 19 February, 2007Saudi Arabia has asked the Dutch government to intervene over remarks by an anti-immigration politician who said Muslims should ‘tear out half the Koran’ and wants him to apologise, a Saudi newspaper said on Sunday.
Geert Wilders said in an interview published last week that Muslims should dump half their holy book if they wanted to stay in the Netherlands and that he would chase Islam’s Prophet Mohammad out of the country if he was alive today.
